Each client has the opportunity throughout the week to enjoy functional community based activities to practice the skills necessary for an independent and successful life. Activities help our adults generalize skills learned at The Pointe, such as grocery shopping, using the bank, or taking a walk in their own neighborhoods. In the community, our adults practice functional living skills, social and communication skills, gain an awareness of their surroundings, participate in yoga and fitness classes, and expand their repertoire of activities.

Additionally, Itineris offers support in the homes and communities of our adults. Autism Support Coaches are trained to provide instruction in specific skill areas. Utilizing positive behavioral supports, mentoring, recreational support, and accessing adaptive equipment and technology, our adults learn to live more independently.
